Who we are

Wall Media Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England & Wales, company number 15045668, registered office Longfrey Cottage, Dorking Road, Chilworth, Surrey, GU4 8RH.

Wall Media builds and operates lead generation brands. Each brand trades under its own name but is operated by Wall Media Ltd, which remains the controller. This policy covers:

  • wallmedia.co.uk — this site
  • stairliftleadpartner.com — Stairlift Lead Partner, a trading brand of Wall Media Ltd

The two sites do different things, so the sections below are organised by what we are doing with data rather than by which site you arrived from. Each section says which site it applies to.

What we collect, why, and our lawful basis

1. Visiting either website

Our hosting provider records technical information automatically: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the referring source. We use it to serve the site, to keep it secure and available, and to diagnose faults.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests — operating and securing our own website. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.

2. Enquiries to our vertical brands

Applies to Stairlift Lead Partner and any future vertical brand.

Where you respond to advertising run by one of our brands, we collect the details you provide: your name, telephone number, email address, postcode or town, and your answers to qualification questions — for example whether you own your home, the type of staircase, and when you are looking to proceed. Where the advertising uses a lead form hosted on a social platform, that platform processes your details under its own terms before they reach us.

Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in connecting people seeking a product with a supplier able to provide it.

3. Qualification calls

Applies to Stairlift Lead Partner and any future vertical brand.

We may call you to confirm the details of your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange a home survey. We keep notes of that call. Where a call is recorded for training and quality purposes we tell you at the start and you may object.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests — confirming an enquiry is genuine and accurate before passing it to a supplier, and maintaining the quality of our own service.

4. Passing your enquiry to a supplier

Applies to Stairlift Lead Partner and any future vertical brand.

This is the core of what we do. Where your enquiry meets a supplier's criteria we pass your details to that supplier so they can contact you, quote, and carry out the work. We tell you at the point of enquiry who that supplier will be.

Once your details reach the supplier, they are a separate data controller and their own privacy policy applies to what they do next. We do not control that, and we cannot exercise your rights against them on your behalf.

Your enquiry goes to one supplier only. We do not sell the same enquiry to several competing suppliers, and we do not sell personal data.

Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and legitimate interests.

5. Business enquiries from suppliers

Where you contact us as a business — to ask about buying leads — we process the contact and company details you give us in order to respond and, if it goes further, to agree terms.

Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract.

6. Contact form and survey on wallmedia.co.uk

We intend to add a contact form and a short survey to this site. Neither exists yet. This site currently collects nothing from you beyond the technical information in section 1 — there is no form, no survey and no newsletter sign-up.

When they go live this section will describe exactly what they collect and why, and the notice will also appear next to the form itself. This paragraph is here so you can see what is planned, not to describe something that is already running.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, kept on your own device so the site remembers it on your next visit. Nothing about that reaches us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Because there is nothing non-essential to store, there is no consent banner on this site. If that changes — for example if we add measurement alongside the contact form described above — we will ask for your consent first, and you will be able to withdraw it.

Our vertical brand sites may use advertising and measurement technologies to understand which campaigns produce enquiries. Where those rely on cookies or similar storage, consent is requested on that site before they are set.

Who we share it with

  • The supplier your enquiry is passed to. This is the purpose of the service, and we identify them at the point of enquiry.
  • Service providers acting on our instructions — website hosting, customer relationship management, appointment scheduling and telephony. Each is bound by a written data processing agreement and may only act on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers and authorities where we are legally required to disclose, or need to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

International transfers

We are a UK company. Some of our vertical brand activity extends to the United States, so data may be transferred between the two. Where personal data leaves the UK we rely on adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate additional safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to provide the service, and then for a limited further period so we can deal with queries, resolve billing disputes with a supplier, and demonstrate that we handled the enquiry properly. Call recordings are kept for a shorter period than the enquiry record itself. Technical website logs are kept only briefly.

Specific retention periods are available on request using the contact details below.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • ask us to delete data where there is no good reason for us to keep it
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests
  • receive data you gave us in a portable format
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent

There is no charge, and we aim to respond within one month. If your enquiry has already been passed to a supplier, you may also need to contact them directly — they control what they do with it from that point.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would ask you to come to us first so we have a chance to put it right.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do with data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and anything material will be called out here rather than changed quietly.
